Heroes to the Homeless

Connect with Heroes in Your Area

We consider the men and women who regularly provide food, clothing, shelter, mental health services, as well as job training and placement, as heroes. The vast majority of these individuals commit valuable hours to serve without ever receiving paycheck for doing so.

Why not consider joining the men and women who put faith into action and make a difference on the front lines? Preview our growing list of teams that we were fed by when we lived on the streets, and some that we just heard about…

Always Growing Network

We have listed a few organizations on our website, as we are just beginning to build our network of heroes. Please understand that our list is in no way meant to leave any groups out, as our hope is to include and promote as many as possible.  If you know if a group that you would like us to champion on our website, please email us the name of the organization, the city it is based in and a website we might link to them.  You can send email and include a photo or two, to: will@99for1.org

Disclaimer

While we appreciate the essential work of every non-profit, faith institution and government agency proving services, we do not necessarily agree with every ideology that some promote.  However, it is our desire to build common ground relationships, focusing on our shared desire to care for those on the streets, rather than our differences.  We can do more together. We believe that the world needs people united to make a difference in the lives of others.  It is a noble cause, seeking to love those in harm’s way, as we would want to be loved and cared for if the roles were reversed.
